So there is this fish swimming in a river in the middle of the woods. The fish suddenly spots a fly hovering above the water and thinks to himself, if that fly would just drop about four inches I could jump up, grab him and have a good, easy meal.
Little does this fish know that there is a hungry bear watching him. The bear sees the situation and thinks, if that fly would just drop four inches, that fish will jump up to eat it, then I can grab the fish!
Well, behind a tree on the other side of the river is a hunter. The hunter thinks to himself, if that fly drops four inches, the fish will jump out of the water, the bear will grab the fish, and I will have an chance to shoot this bear.
In the bushes nearby there is a mouse eyeing the hunter’s lunch bag. The mouse says to himself, if that fly drops four inches, the fish will jump, the bear will grab the fish, the hunter will shoot the bear and be distracted enough so I can grab his sandwich.
Now, there is also a cat nearby looking at this mouse thinking, if that fly drops four inches, the fish will jump, the bear will grab the fish, the hunter will shoot the bear, the mouse will grab the sandwich, and I can catch this mouse!
….Well, sure enough the fly drops, the fish jumps, the bear grabs the fish, the hunter shoots the bear, the mouse grabs the sandwhich, and the cat pounces … But misses and goes tumbling into the river!
